The Keen Family has been welcoming guests for 71 years, and it is as much a privilege today as it was for our parents, James and Dorothy Keen. Every day brings an opportunity to greet a returning friend or to meet a new one at the perfect camping setting of Keen Lake. We respect how valuable a commodity leisure time is, and our mission is to provide the opportunity for families to reconnect with each other and to connect with the splendor that is the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania!
2025 Events Calendar
We’re honoring Moms, celebrating the Brave of our Nation, and getting down and dirty with a Garden party for Gnomes!
The month of June is about family and fun. From an all around fishing weekend to our Annual Father’s day Stache Bash, Dinosaur fun, and introduction to Puppetry. June will entertain and delight!
Summer is in full swing for the month of July–kicking off with an Ode to the Red, White, and Blue, Corn Hole Tournaments, Live Music, DJ’s and Dances, a Grinchmas, water wars, a Fairy Tale Tea and our annual talent and art show!
August heralds carriage rides and an Enchanted Creature Tea Party as well as the Keen Lake Olympics. Come dressed in your 80’s best to celebrate Back to the 80’s Beach Party, before we bid a sweet goodbye to the Harvest month.
The last few weeks of summer are gorgeous here, and we make the most of them! Events include our Labor Day celebration, bonfires, a pig roast, Old-Fashioned Pot Luck and the annual search for the Great Pumpkin.
October will celebrate all things autumnal. We’ll end the season with razzle, dazzle pumpkin painting, a Halloween costume parade and beach party. Honesdale Harvest and Heritage Days and the Scranton Steamtown Marathon are both nearby!
